Click on the underlined entries to see the descriptions 1. MyAreaC
The new MyAreaC personal area allows those who register to check all accesses, activate benefits, purchase and activate tickets and regularize a journey made in the past 7 days through payment and activation of the € 15.00 ticket.
Those who were already registered on the website don’t have to make any new operation, since they will be able to directly access the MyAreaC personal area.
All new users, on the other hand, will be able to access the personal area after receiving the password through text message, which will be sent to them once registered in the Online services section.
With the password you will be able to access MyAreaC to insert and activate the license plates for which you wish to use this service.
The system will generate a personal identification number (PIN master) that will prevent other users to associate the same license plate to other profiles.
If you forgot to pay your access in Area C by 12 AM of the following day, you can regularize the access and pay within 7 days from your access by purchasing and activating a € 15.00 ticket.
This ticket can only be activated from your MyAreaC personal page.
2. Area C: basic rules
Area C is activated on weekdays with the following schedule:
• from Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM
Area C is not activated during holidays.
Area C corresponds to the restricted traffic area (ZTL) called Cerchia dei Bastioni. It is surrounded by 43 entrances equipped with cameras, 6 of which are reserved for public transport, and 1 reserved to people equipped with access permit.
The map with the entrances and the list of streets included in Area C and forming its borders are available on page What is Area C?
The camera system only detects cars’ license plate accessing the area. However, the rules forbid not only to cross the entrances, but also the dynamic circulation, that is the circulation of vehicles within Area C and to the outside of it.
Area C ticket is valid for one day and for all the entrances of the same vehicle during the day, from the time of the first entrance until 7:30 PM.
3. Purchasing and activating entry tickets
Entry tickets are available on the website on section “purchase ticket”, in tobacco shops, kiosks and Atm Points.
You can as well purchase and activate the tickets by calling +39 0248684001 (Monday to Saturday from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Sunday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM), using one of the parking meters spread across Milan, at enabled automatic bank tellers of Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, through and SISAL gaming outlets or points of sale, or sending a text message to 48444 with your vehicle's license plate.
Finally you can authorize the debit on your Telepass, Touring Club Svizzero, A2A, UnipolTech or PayPal account.
The activation (which sometimes coincides with the purchase) should be made during the day in which you enter ZTL Cerchia dei Bastioni or, anyway, no later than 12:00 AM of the following day.
Reduced-fare tickets sold by conventioned parking garages constitute an exemption: these tickets must compulsorily be activated before midnight of the day of the access.
Area C entry tickets are not subject to VAT.
